Boron Carbide is the hardest artificial mateiral in the world, only second to Diamond in hardness. In anti-abrasion, Boron Carbide is superior to any material ever known by us except Diamond such as Alumina, Silicon Carbide, Slicon Nitride, Tungsten Carbide ect.. For the above advantages, Boron Carbide is widely used as follows:

(5) Used in manufacturing electrical equipment and fine welding.
